The estate has been in the family since 1892, spanning four generations. Current owner Jean-Claude Mas is often described as a pioneer from the New Languedoc, ushering in a new wave of expressive French wines. In 2000 he created the Domaine Paul Mas label with a mission to allow everyone to enjoy the best of what Languedoc can offer. These wines represent the diversity of terroirs within the same appellation and also the essence of each traditional appellation in the Languedoc. They are a fusion between the tradition of winemaking and the new approach to wine, embodied by Jean-Claude Mas.
